Kurinuki is the traditional Japanese style of hand-building from a single block of clay. A slow and meditative process, these beautiful wabisabi pieces reflect the joyous imperfections of life. The holder of a kurinuki cup can feel the solid and active presence of the clay grounding herself to the earth.
